Joseph Savino, Managing Partner As Managing Partner of The Savino Financial Group since 1983, Joseph M. Savino has built a successful Northwestern Mutual Financial Network office in central New Jersey with more than 70 Financial Representatives and 30 professional staff members in four locations – Princeton, Clinton, and Freehold. When Joe Savino accepted the appointment of Managing Partner, he had the distinction of being the youngest appointed Managing Partner in the nearly 150-year history of the Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company. The Network Office has been active since 1899. Joseph Savino – Professional Accomplishments Joseph Savino, Managing Partner of The Savino Financial Group, began his career with Northwestern Mutual in 1972 as a college intern while studying at the University of Rhode Island. Joe continued with the company and has held the positions of financial representative, college unit director, managing director and home office employee. He is a recipient of the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network Achievement Award and has been recognized for agency growth for seven consecutive years. Joe is a member of the Business Advisory Board at Rider University. He has been a guest lecturer at Rider, Rutgers University, the College of New Jersey and the University of Rhode Island, sharing his expertise on sales, marketing, insurance and investments. Joe is also actively involved in the financial community as past President of the Chartered Life Underwriter, Central New Jersey Chapter, and as past Board Member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Joe’s enthusiasm and dedication enable him to be a leader with one of the country’s largest financial services firms, while still participating in his family’s activities and serving the needs of his community. Joseph Savino – Community Involvement Joe Savino was recognized as an outstanding citizen and was awarded the Citizen of the Year award by the Italian-American National Hall of Fame;and the Lawrenceville High School PTO presented Joe with the Dollars for Scholars Volunteer of the Year 2004 award. Joseph Savino – Personal Accomplishments Joe Savino, Managing Partner, earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island. He resides in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, with his wife Joanne, who is The Savino Financial Group’s Director of Recruiting. Their oldest daughter, Marissa, joined the Network Office as a Financial Representative in 2002, and two sons attend Brown University. Joe was a volunteer wrestling coach and enjoys golfing. |
