HomeFront will again this year receive a generous donation of non-perishable foods from Northwestern Mutual Financial Network—Savino Financial Group. “We have assisted HomeFront for three years. This year we arranged six very full baskets of food plus $120 worth of certificates so the families can purchase turkeys to complete their Thanksgiving dinners,” says Joe Savino, Managing Partner. “Northwestern Mutual Financial Network and its Financial Representatives seek to improve the quality of life for all in the Greater Princeton community. We are honored to be part of HomeFront’s efforts to end homelessness in Mercer County.” HomeFront, located at 1880 Princeton Avenue in Lawrenceville, works to give people the skills and opportunities to ensure adequate incomes and to increase the availability of affordable housing. The organization’s programs, services and advocacy help families become self-sufficient, contributing members of the community. With a volunteer workforce of over 1,200 people and the help of donations from local families and businesses, HomeFront connects clients to a variety of resources, including jobs, mentoring, information, money, and support.
